Working with Kate Wilkins Lighting Designers, we were appointed for sites where something extra special was needed.
Responding to the architect Michaelis Boyd plans, we designed a lighting scheme to enhance their interior design and create a comfortable but interesting dining environment. Solutions for the Canary Wharf restaurant included, a tactile cushion of light to accentuate the flow of banquette seating, lighting sympathetic to the hard and raw finishes, authentic 1960’s table lamps, modern Danish floor standing fixtures and Tom Dixon copper pendants. At the Great Portland Street site we developed a range of colourful angle poise lamps, used an array of warm tones of light to draw diners through the space and within the beach hut inspired wash rooms, we used gobo projections to suggest the shadows cast by sunlight.
